It Is Tax Smart To Give Your Charitable Contributions From Your IRA

Instead of taking your full Required Minimum Distribuon from your IRA, you can direct a portion or up to $100,000 directly to charity using a Qualified Charitable Distribution. It is a tax saving because you lower your Adjusted Gross Income.
